Nkwichi Lodge

Nkwichi Lodge is located on a spectacular stretch of gorgeous white beach along the shores of Mozambique's Lake Malawi. The lodge is very isolated with no roads within a 10 miles radius, keeping the tranquility to a maximum. The marvelous lodge has been built in a way to not spoil the surroundings, but to actually blend in with it.

Nkwichi Lodge can comfortably accommodate a maximum of 14 guests in their 6 superb chalets which have been carefully designed with amazing characteristics. The chalets are spacious and situated far apart from each other giving you all the privacy you would need to make that romantic time together more special. A focal point would be the four poster bed located in the centre of the room, draped with netting and its fresh crisp bedding. Each chalet has an en-suite bathroom designed in a way that you can bathe outdoors under the canopy of a tree in seclusion.

The Lakeshore Deck at Nkwichi Lodge is one of the most popular places, offering scrumptious breakfasts with fresh mangoes and homemade muesli. Lunches are served outdoors under the shade of the living antique and while you are out and about on other activities you can enjoy a picnic on the beachfront or in the surroundings. Come dinner time, I am sure you will be ready for a great meal, well not to worry as Nkwichi Lodge caters for those who would prefer to dine in the privacy of their chalet as well as many other locations.

There are many great exciting and interesting activities to take part in, such as walking up to the top of the escarpment directly behind the lodge, sitting back and watching the marvelous different types of birds circling around, visiting the local places of interest and getting to see the historic St Peter's Cathedral while meeting the community. Enjoy the ocean and all it has to offer including swimming/snorkeling or scuba diving in the gentle blue waters, sailing or quietly canoeing along the local lake shores.
