Thank you for the opportunity to give feedback re our stay at Chembe Eagles Nest. We are pleased to report that we had a very pleasant stay at Eagles Nest. The shalet was beautiful and clean and the meals and service were good. The manager, Marius and his assistant, Helen, were excellent hosts and welcomed us warmly.
We do have a few recommendations:
Bedlamps for the rooms – the rooms are very dark (we understand that because we realize how hot it is in summer and the desighn accomodates that, but it is impossible to do any reading in bed)
A coffee station or just a kettle in the room. We are early risers and really missed our early cup of coffee/tea and the breakfast room only opens at 7h30.
Extra towels for swimming in the lake. If it can be available to hire from reception it will be fine.
A small bar of soap for the shower.
We really had a great time at Chembe Eagles Nest and will be back if the petrol crisis in the country can be resolved.
